The Hood River County Library and Georgiana Smith Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. [1] [2] It was a community effort to get the library built, with a woman's club leading, and eventually securing a $17,500 Carnegie grant. The library was built in 1913–14. The Georgiana Smith Park was completed in 1935. [2]
Fort Corjuem. Fort Assunção [1] or Corjuem Fort is a fortress situated 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the village of Aldona on the river island of Corjuem, Goa. It was a military fortress for the defense of Portuguese India. It is smaller than the other forts in Goa, but it gives a good view of the surrounding river and land.

GoLine is Indian River County's main method of public transportation. The program was introduced in 1994 to provide an alternative option to driving. Due to County population increases in the early and mid 2000s, Indian River County devised a series of bus routes from Barefoot Bay in southern Brevard County to the south end of Vero Beach.
State Road 656 begins at US 1 at the intersection of 17th Street in central Vero Beach, with SR 656 heading east on 17th Street. It passes through a commercial, then residential area before intersecting with County Road 603. The road crosses the Intracoastal Waterway to Dark Point on the barrier island, and ends at State Road A1A. [2] [3]
