The longest-tenured head coach is Bob Whalen, who has been the head coach at Dartmouth since the start of the 1990 season.
Eddie Grant as Captain during World War I. Grant was born on May 21, 1883, in Franklin, Massachusetts.After completing high school in 1901, Grant attended Dean Academy (now Dean College) in Franklin for a year before enrolling at Harvard University (earning him the nickname "Harvard Eddie"). [3]
The main building of the Academy, Dean Hall, was completed in 1868. During the summer of 1872, it was destroyed by a fire, but reconstruction began and finished on June 7, 1874. The school's name changed twice more, Dean Junior College in May 1941 and then Dean College in May 1994. [4] The school's academic mascot is a bulldog named Boomer.
