Matthew 5:20 is the twentieth verse of the fifth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament and is part of the Sermon on the Mount. The New International Version translates the passage as: You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
