State Route 158 (SR 158) is a 21.44-mile-long (34.50 km) state highway in northern Mobile County in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Alabama.The western terminus of the highway is at an intersection with U.S. Route 98 (US 98) northwest of Wilmer, just shy of the Mississippi state line.
It is 11 miles (18 km) west of Prichard and 15 miles (24 km) northwest of downtown Mobile. U.S. Route 98 (Moffett Road) is the main highway through Semmes, leading southeast into Mobile and northwest 77 miles (124 km) to Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The Mobile, Jackson and Kansas City Railroad Company (MJ&KC) was established in 1890 in Mobile, Alabama. By 1898 the line reached the Pascagoula River at Merrill, Mississippi . The railroad had 50 miles of trackage in 1900 and reached Hattiesburg, Mississippi , via the Bonhomie & Hattiesburg Southern Railroad in 1902.
