Sigrid Solbakk Raabe (born 5 September 1996), known professionally as Sigrid, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.She has released two studio albums, Sucker Punch (2019) and How to Let Go (2022), both of which reached the top of the charts in Norway as well as reaching the top 10 in the United Kingdom.
"Everybody Knows" has been widely used in television and film. Allan Moyle's 1990 film Pump Up the Volume features the song prominently. A favorite of protagonist Mark Hunter (Christian Slater, as the operator of an FM pirate radio station), Cohen's song is played from an on-screen phonograph several times during Mark's clandestine broadcasts.

Sucker Punch is the debut studio album by Norwegian singer Sigrid, released on 8 March 2019 through Island Records. [1] It follows the release of Sigrid's 2018 EP Raw. [2] [3] None of the songs featured on Raw were included on the album; however, two were included from Sigrid's debut EP Don't Kill My Vibe (2017).
"Everybody Knows" is a 1967 song by the Dave Clark Five, also known as "Everybody Knows (You Said Goodbye)", to avoid confusion with their 1964 song, "Everybody Knows (I Still Love You)." The song features lead vocals by Lenny Davidson, unusual among their songs. The song was a major hit in their native UK, where it reached number two.
It was released on 17 January 2019 as the record's fourth single. A pop break-up anthem, its lyrics discuss moving through a breakup positively and postponing heartbreak. The track received positive reviews from music critics for its encouraging message. Sigrid performed "Don't Feel Like Crying" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
