After two fires, the club was rebuilt and opened on July 2, 1941, as the King and Prince Hotel. Used as a training facility and radar station by the Navy during World War II, the island resort reopened its doors to the public in 1947. In 1972 and 1982 the resort underwent substantial building renovations and expansions.
Arrow Point to Lion Head Point (SMCA) is a marine protected area on Catalina Island that includes offshore, island marine habitat off California’s south coast. The SMCA covers 0.67 square miles (1.7 km 2). In general an SMCA protects marine life by limiting the removal of marine wildlife from within their borders.
The highest area in Georgia is Brasstown Bald which is 1,458 m (4,783 ft) above sea level, while the lowest is at sea level, at the Atlantic Ocean. Georgia is located at approximately 33° N 83.5° W. The state has a total area of 154,077 km 2 (59,489 sq mi) and the geographic center is located in Twiggs County. [3]
