Robert Coleman Thomas (born March 6, 1999), known professionally as Rob49, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. [1] He is best known for his guest appearance alongside 21 Savage on Travis Scott's 2023 song "Topia Twins", which peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.

In "Homeboy", the narrator addresses a delinquent brother who has taken to a destructive urban lifestyle. The lyrics play on the word "homeboy", turning it into a plea for his brother to "come on home, boy." [1] Co-writer Casey Beathard came up with the song's idea after hearing his son say "come on, homeboy" to a friend. [2]

He was able to get Rob Zombie as a co-producer, and call upon high profile bands to participate. Rob Zombie also did the cover artwork, and Stephen King, a Ramones fan, wrote the liner notes. One of the last things Johnny Ramone did was oversee the album. He advised all the chosen bands to make the songs their own.
