The South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031 (SEQRP 2009) [1] is a statutory plan designed to guide regional growth and development in South East Queensland, Australia. It was established under the Integrated Planning Act 1997 , which has now been replaced by The Sustainable Planning Act 2009 .
There are 21 Queensland Government departments, each responsible for delivering a portfolio of government legislation and policy. [1] Each portfolio area is led by a minister who is a senior member of the governing party in the state Legislative Assembly .

The plan is to have a group of suburbs with the population of Darwin by 2030. In 2019, Springfield City Group was inducted into the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame in recognition of their visionary entrepreneurship in establishing Springfield, as a nation-building project and Australia's first privately-constructed city.
