Al Tayer Group (Arabic: مجموعة الطاير) is a privately held holding company established in 1979. [1] [2] Currently, the group operates in 6 countries in the Middle East, including nearly 200 stores and 23 showrooms in multiple markets in the Middle East. The company is headquartered in Dubai, UAE and employs nearly 9,000 people.
Motivate Media Group (previously known as Motivate Publishing) is a media company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1979 by Ian Fairservice, [ 1 ] and today has offices in Abu Dhabi (the capital of the UAE) Saudi, and London .
First launched in 1978, it is distributed throughout the UAE and also in other Persian Gulf countries. Its online edition was launched in 1996. Through its owner Al Nisr Publishing, it is a subsidiary of the Al Tayer Group, which is chaired by UAE Finance Minister Obaid Al Tayer.
He also was a Member of the Dubai Economic Council from 2004 to 2008. [4] In February 2008 Al Tayer joined the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates. [2] In November 2019 Al Tayer was appointed as Chairman of Etisalat (Emirates Telecommunication Group Company PJSC). He replaced Eissa Mohamed Ghanem Al Suwaidi. [2]

Ahmad Al Tayer is a former minister in the United Arab Emirates from 1973 to 2004. [1] In November 2009, he became the governor of Dubai International Financial Centre . [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Al Tayer held several positions in the cabinet including finance, transportation and communications.
