Karmin shot the music video for "Hello" in the China Town plaza in Los Angeles in June 2012. A forty-second teaser for the video was released on Karmin's official YouTube channel on August 4, 2012. The music video was released to MTV, VH1, and VEVO on August 7, 2012.
Karmin is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Śmigiel, within Kościan County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. [1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Śmigiel , 12 km (7 mi) south of Kościan , and 50 km (31 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań .
In an e-mail sent to their subscribers, Karmin announced that "Didn't Know You" was the first single from their debut album Leo Rising, although after the official track listing was released it was mentioned that there was a relisting of the album's songs to include "Along the Road", a single released previously to "Didn't Know You".
"Acapella" is a song by American music duo Karmin. It was released on July 9, 2013, by Epic Records as the lead single from their debut studio album, Pulses (2014). The single was written by group members Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, as well as Sam Hollander and Boys Like Girls frontman, Martin Johnson, who produced the single.
The album was panned by some music critics. Writing in The New York Times, Jon Caramanica critiqued Karmin as an act whose fame came from "assaulting the songs of others, performing glib and highly stylized YouTube covers that inadvertently doubled as sketch comedy" and found Heidemann's rapping in her own material "intricate and deeply irritating".
