Lincoln-Way North High School, or LWN, was a public four-year high school located approximately one mile south of Interstate 80 at the intersection of Illinois Route 43 (Harlem Avenue), Vollmer Road, Saint Francis Road and Cox Avenue in Frankfort Square, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, in the United States.
In the fall of 1921, 300 students moved into the current Frankfort Community High School. It was designed by the nationally known school architect, Mr. William B. Ittner of St. Louis, Missouri. With a student body growing to more than 1,000 students, a three-floor addition was added to the original high school in 1938.
