Nazareth High School or Nazareth School is a public high school located in Nazareth, Texas and classified as a 1A school by the UIL. It is part of the Nazareth Independent School District located in east central Castro County. For the 2021-2022 school year, the school was given an "A" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]

The Nazareth Swiftettes basketball team have won 25 state championships in a 47-year span (1977–2023), a current public school national record. In 2023, the Swiftettes won their fifth state title in seven years, and seventh in 10 years.
In July 2024, the ACLU of Texas sent Nazareth Independent School District a letter, alleging that the district's 2023-2024 dress and grooming code appeared to violate the Texas CROWN Act, a state law which prohibits racial discrimination based on hair texture or styles, and asking the district to revise its policies for the 2024-2025 school year.

The state semifinal and championship games for all five classes in boys and girls basketball were previously held at the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. In 2015 it was decided to move the boys & girls state tournaments to the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX, due to ongoing price and venue disputes in Austin.
