Bôa (stylized bôa) are an English alternative rock band formed in London in 1993 by drummer Ed Herten, keyboardist Paul Turrell, and guitarist/vocalist Steve Rodgers. The band have progressed from playing funk to rock over the years, as bassist Alex Caird and multi-instrumentalist Ben Henderson joined, and Jasmine Rodgers was added as vocalist.
The Race of a Thousand Camels is the debut album by the English rock band Bôa released on 1 July 1998. [1] During the recording of this album the band consisted of Alex Caird, Ben Henderson, Jasmine Rodgers, Steve Rodgers, Lee Sullivan and Paul Turrell.
The opening track, "Duvet", became popular after being used as the opening theme song of the 1998 anime television series Serial Experiments Lain. [4] On 6 October 2023, the song received a gold certification from the RIAA.

In 2021, "Atlantis Princess" was ranked number 93 in Melon and Seoul Shinmun ' s list of Top 100 K-pop Songs of All Time. [4] Rhian Daily of The Forty-Five ranked it as the best K-pop song of all time in 2023, opining that although BoA has recorded multiple songs that "could fight for the position of K-pop's best ever", "Atlantis Princess" "is her best—warm, creative and fun".
