Thomas Morgan Edwards (December 4, 1932 – June 23, 2022) [1] was an American harmonicist and session musician, who had been active since the 1950s. [2] He was considered one of the most heard harmonica players in the world, playing in over 500 feature films.
Salwitz contributed his harmonica playing and some vocals to a live recording, Command Performance, by the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue, featuring the Tommy Castro Band, Deanna Bogart, Ronnie Baker Brooks, and others.
Al's chord harmonicas were produced special by Hohner after the war, and he used an estimated 50 chords throughout his entire career.
