The Calcasieu Parish School Board (CPSB) is a school district based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. The CPSB operates all public schools in Calcasieu Parish, including the city of Lake Charles. The school district has a total of 58 schools (33 preschools, 38 elementary, 15 middle, 11 high).
In September 2005 Hurricane Rita struck Cameron Parish. Four of the parish's six public schools were destroyed or damaged; students from three other schools (Cameron Elementary, South Cameron Elementary, and South Cameron High) occupied Grand Lake High School while students from Johnson Bayou occupied Hackberry High School's campus.

Calcasieu Parish was created in 1840 from the Parish of Saint Landry. The new parish was the largest in the state, larger than either of the two smallest states, Delaware and Rhode Island .
