Strange that this article fails to state the horrible state the Ghana Railways are in. I wanted to travel from Accra to Kumasi last year by train, but all the locals said me not to because it was to dangerous! (and the alternative, Trotro's, are not exactly safe :-) ) Service along to the coast should be sort of possible.
