right click on Cyberpunk2077.exe, click on properties and Compatibility. Use MSI Afterburner to make sure your GPU fans are spinning. Force fan speed update on each period (can increase CPU-usage) if fan curve cannot be applied. Make sure to set curve for both fans, and also activate auto mode for both fans.
Update drivers. Go into Cyberpunk settings. Change your screen resolution down/up. 1440 -> 1080 it doesn't matter as long as it asks you to "apply". Hit Apply...Now DLSS will take effect! Switch back to your native resolution and apply DLSS, you should notice a huge difference.
The problem, especially on laptops, is that the manufacturer will tell you over and over that you already have the latest drivers. This is not new. This has plagued games for decades. There used to be a solution in that 3rd parties would make video drivers that you could use even when your system says it's completely up to date.
Dec 10, 2020. Ray Tracing option is disabled in game settings and can't be enabled. DLSS works just fine. I tried to use GeForce Experience to Optimize settings (this enables RT in config file) and edit config file manually but game changes RT to off all the time. My spec: CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K @ 5.0GHz. GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO.

Aug 24, 2023. witblitz said: Do we know if DLSS 3.5 will release with the 2.0 Patch, or on the 26th SEP? Update 2.0 will most likely come with a new version of DLSS that will be installed in the game's directory. However, Nvidia can inject newer versions of DLSS via the driver at any time, even prior to Update 2.0.
I have the Steam version, I have all the latest Windows updates, I've tried with both the latest nVidia driver, and the one before (I used DDU to switch back and forth), checking the files with Steam, re-downloading the entire game, running Cyberpunk2077.exe directly (As administrator), nothing works, I'm 100 % sure that whatever is causing the game not to load is not related to my setup ...
Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU Win 10 64 Bit 12gigs of RAM Messing with both the user settings.ini and Nvidia Control Panel does nothing to fix the problem. Only thing I can think is Witcher 3 is no longer working with the latest Nvidia drivers, which should definitely be fixed by the developers.
I reverted to my old Graphic Drivers and that solved the freezing / crashing problems. Under some circumstances Nvidia Driver 537.42 is faulty and causes those problems. Ofc if you revert you give up Ray Reconstruction (for now) so keep that in mind. Maybe that will help you guys So long PS: Ryzen 5700X 32 GB RAM RipJaw DDR4 4000 (at 3600) SATA ...
I use the latest GPU and Chipset Driver anyway, also Windows 11 is up to date (21H2). Unfortunately Witcher 3 (Next-Gen Update) freeze and chrash a little bit too often. The DX12 implementation is completely broken and the game is simply unplayable now. Now I understand, why CP77 has no DLSS3/Frame Generation update.
