Run the furnace for about 5 mins and subtract the return air temp from that duct or the house temp from the supply temp and compare it to the rating on the model # sticker. Usually about 35-65 deg F allowable rise. I like to keep it around 50 deg F. Speed up your blower one speed if necessary.

Then the main blower starts working and the whole thing stays on for 2-3 minutes. Then the flames go off before the thermostat reaches the target temperature. Though it continues to recycle ...

Dec 5, 2015 at 4:36. When did you last clean out the burner box with a blower, brush or vacuum? Have you run a brass brush over the ignitor tips to get the crud off? It doesn't take much dirt to block the flow of gas to the ignitor. – Wayfaring Stranger.

Is the furnace and board grounded properly. Check for continuity to a copper water line from the furnace. Use a cheater wire from the water line to extend your meter leads (trick of the trade). Check the grounding of the board to the chassis, make sure the board mounting bracket screws are tight. Make sure nothing else is on the furnace circuit.

No light on the circuit board. I have a Goodman furnace and is not turning on when I turn on the heat on the thermostat. I started with the thermostat. Jumped the R and W on the thermostat nothing kicked on at the furnace. Next, I checked the on/off switch. All good, 120V.

Remove the intake pipe for one day and let it suck air from the basement. Leave the furnace room door open and unless you have a gas water heater within 3 feet it should be OK. If the problem goes away then it is your intake pipe blockage. That is how I found the G26 issue. Ran fine w/o the intake.
