Surprise Lake Camp is a non-profit sleepaway camp located on over 400 acres (1.6 km 2) in North Highlands, New York (approximately 60 miles (97 km), north of New York City). It is the oldest Jewish summer camp in the United States.

The Agatha A. Durland Scout Reservation is a Scout camp owned by the Greater Hudson Valley Council. It is 1,400 acres (5.7 km 2) of mostly deciduous forest containing five lakes, bordered by Clarence Fahnestock State Park to the northeast. It has about forty campsites and nine cabins. [1]
