Issues With Physical Device (Example: Charger Doesnt Work) My old fire 7 was really slowing down, so I got a new one for Christmas. All good, except, as the title says, it charges very slowly. I put it to charge in the morning, and that evening it was only on 70%. My old kindle was nowhere near that, only a couple of hours or so.
Reply. duncantuna. • 5 yr. ago. Yep, try a different cord. I noticed the same thing, my Fire 10 was charging slowly. I happen to have a USB voltage meter, so tried a few experiments, plugging it into a 1 amp, 2 amp, and QC (quick charge) socket. With Cord 1, the Fire 10 was drawing .3 amps .. .6 amps on the 2amp and QC. Finally switched cords.
Kindle fire battery VERY slow to charge. Question. I have a kindle fire 10 from 2019 that I never heavily used but always enjoyed it when I did use it. When I charge the battery it takes an abnormally long time to charge. Like 2 full days to charge to 100%. Around 50% each day.
Just tried a restart. 20mn later it’s now at 70%. Something’s wrong with my Oasis mmmm. Some user here mentioned letting the battery drain, then charge the device over night on a PC helped. My Oasis 3 charges very quickly, so it may be the charging port or the battery. It shouldn't take two days to charge that much.
Theoretically, it should. Amazon.co.uk seems to recommend this adaptor specifically on the Fire HD 10 page under "Add Additional Items" and claims a 25% faster charging speed for the rated 15W, but the ones you found will likely work just as well, if a little bit dodgy looking ("Sumsang Galaxy" lol).
If you do not get rid of apps that are running or hidden in the background, you likely run out of usable memory. At least it seems that way since the last 'upgrade'. When Amazon made Alexa a given part of the OS, not an add-on, it was too much for the Fire 7, at least the 5th gen. The later may be a bit quicker, or not.
Bought an HD 10 last week. This is the first Amazon tablet Ive owned. Ive had a few iPads and Samsung tabs, but this Fire is the slowest charging device Ive ever experienced. Im trying to determine if I might have a faulty one, or if its normal. Most posts and articles that Ive found are several years old, and refer to older gens.
I've been using my fire tablet for about 2 years with no issues, mostly for streaming with a roku device. a few weeks ago the tablet has gotten really slow. when i turn it on the app icons take 3x longer to load, youtube app loads much slower, also the videos buffer alot and the video quality now always says "unavailable" and the quality is 240p. it says the system updated itself recently. i ...
If you use home assistant you can use a smart outlet/plug to control the outlet based on the battery percentage. I'm doing that and it works well. Currently starts charging at 40%, stops at 60. AccuBattery on my un-rooted Android phone plays an alarm when charge level reaches 80%.
Fire HD10 (2021 - 11th gen) "plugged in but can't charge". Issues With Physical Device (DIFF: EASY) (Ex: Charger Doesnt Work) My lovely Fire HD10 is driving me mad. I have to restart it everytime I want to charge it. It then charges to 100%, but if I leave it for a few days and plug it in again I get a message saying "plugged in but can't charge".
