Thanks, I've checked out nuggetry before, I saw a sandblasted mothership torus there for 2K. But I'm afraid of getting scammed on there for that much dough. I also checked out craigslist and it seems like in my area people just put up bongs/waterpipes and the listings seem to stay up.

I actually broke my brand new bong before i even got it hit it lol, the stem joint slightly broke off where it was sandblasted but it's fine without it lol.
I'm thinking about a Whomp It bong I saw on Youtube. Like $195 for a 12" beaker bong. They want that for a regular 12" beaker bong at my local Head shop. This one is some kind of Borosilicate Glass that's supposed to be almost unbreakable. They drop it on tile floors, throw it onto parking lots, and drive big ass nails into wood using it.
The glass itself wont effect the hit. Often china glass tubes have uneven arms on tree perks, for example, which will effect the hit. Cleaning is the same with both. And to second the answers above, china glass is fine if you are very careful with it.
