Al Wahda Football Club (Arabic: نادي الوحدة لكرة القدم, romanized: al-waḥda, lit. 'Union') is an Emirati professional football club based in Abu Dhabi, that competes in the UAE Pro League. [2] The club was founded in 1974 and plays its home games at the Al Nahyan Stadium. The club's colours are maroon, navy blue and white.
Al Wahda was established by Rashed Al Qubesi as a 12-page daily, and the first issue appeared on 5 August 1973. [2] [3] As of 2013 Al Qubesi was also owner and editor of the newspaper. [4] The publisher of the daily is Al Wahda Press House. [5] The paper has its headquarters in Abu Dhabi. [6]
The 2017–18 UAE President's Cup was the 42nd edition of the UAE President's Cup. The competition started on 22 September 2017 and concluded on 3 May 2018. [ 1 ] Al Ain defeated Al Wasl 2–1 in the finals to win their seventh title.

Al Ghassani played with Al Ahli and Al Wahda at youth level. He signed a four-year contract with Al Wahda in 2018 to participate in the UAE Pro League . [ 3 ] On 4 January 2021, he left Al Wahda and signed for Shabab Al Ahli on a three-year contract.
