Show and tell (sometimes called show and share or sharing time) is the practice of showing something to an audience and describing it to them, usually a toy or other children's-oriented item. In the United Kingdom , North America , New Zealand and Australia , it is a common classroom activity in early elementary school . [ 1 ]

The show's continuity is not necessarily dependent on the order in which the episodes aired. Children observe elders, parents, and siblings complete tasks and learn to participate in them. They are seen as contributors and learn to observe multiple tasks being completed at once and can learn to complete a task while still engaging with other community members without being distracted.
