Chattahoochee Technical College (Chattahoochee Tech, CTC, or Chatt Tech) is a public technical college in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is governed by the Technical College System of Georgia and has eight campuses in the north-northwest metro-Atlanta area, and another just outside the region.
Appalachian Tech eventually offered over 50 associate degree, diploma, and technical certification programs. Beginning with summer quarter 2009, the school fully merged into Chattahoochee Technical College along with North Metro Technical College on July 1 (the first day of fiscal year 2010), for a total of eight campuses. In 1996, the "state" was dropped, resulting in the current name, Chattahoochee Valley Community College. The first president was Dr. Ralph M. Savage, appointed in October 1973. Subsequent presidents were Dr. James Owen (1980 until 1993), Dr. Richard Federinko (1993 to 2002), Dr. Laurel Blackwell [ 3 ] (2003-2010) and Dr. Glen Cannon (2011-2014).

In its final years it was also known as Chattahoochee High Magnet School (CHMS). The school's student body became racially integrated in 1965.
Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and provides education for an eleven-county service area in central Georgia.
