In 2009, Ogura performed the motion capture for Hatsune Miku in the game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA. [3] Ogura is a member of the Japanese idol duo YuiKaori with Kaori Ishihara [4] and she was also a part of the idol unit StylipS (also with Ishihara, along with Arisa Noto and Maho Matsunaga), [5] as well as pop group Happy Style Rookies.
YuiKaori (ゆいかおり) was a Japanese idol group consisting of Yui Ogura and Kaori Ishihara. The group was formed in 2009, and has released several singles and albums under the King Records label. On June 30, 2017, the group went on a hiatus to focus on their individual singing careers. [2]
On April 20, 2013, it was announced that both Yui Ogura and Kaori Ishihara would graduate from StylipS on the 21st of April to focus on studies and in their career as voice actors. April 28, new members, Moe Toyota and Miku Itō, were announced to join the group. The new members were personally picked by Arisa and Maho.
She was a member of StylipS until April 2013, [2] alongside YuiKaori and Yui Ogura. [3] As a solo singer, she recorded several character songs for one of each characters. A couple of singles have charted on Oricon. [4]
