Amitriptyline caused me damage. The first choice is always an antihistamine or a natural remedy such as valeriana. If that doesn't work I can recommend baclofen, codeine or neurontin. All of these can be combined with an antihistamine. Some antidepressants are excellent for sleep.

a deep sleep. some downsides i consider among those 2 are: tryptophan: i read some people experience palpitation from tryptophan. its reputation for being linked to bad side effect such as ems, etc. and/or contamination. it effects serotonin which some people are sensitive too. gaba: I read it doesnt cross blood brain barrier.

Less bloating and reflux - able to reduce Zantac by half, although not every time. Small improvement in energy, maybe 10%, but its consistent and steadily improving. Doing more things - bit hard to explain because this is not the same as energy increase - eg couldn't contemplate doing tax, now can do it easily.
