George and Joan. George and Joan (voiced by Daws Butler and June Foray respectively) are an average middle-class white couple, who debuted in the short Pet Peeve (1954), replacing Mammy Two Shoes. They are the owners of Tom, Jerry, and Spike, but Tom likes to keep Joan company and Spike likes to keep George company.
