Thomas Martin Lindsay FRSE (1843–1914) was a Scottish historian, professor and principal of the Free Church College, Glasgow. He wrote chiefly on church history , his major works including Luther and the German Reformation (1900), and A History of the Reformation (1906–1907).
Wallace Henry "Pat" Lindsey, III (March 17, 1936 – January 11, 2009) was a Democratic member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 22nd District from 1982 until his death in 2009. Lindsey first won election to the Alabama Senate for the 18th district in 1966. He served eight years, being reelected in 1970.
As law enforcement pursued him, he crashed and immediately carjacked a school van. During this second phase of the chase, Pink shot at officers and police cars and took a bus driver hostage. After the bus crashed into a guard rail on Route 66 , Pink exited the vehicle and exchanged gunfire with police, who killed him.
