The Ohio State University Men's Glee Club is an all-male choral ensemble at Ohio State University.Officially founded in 1875, the Men's Glee Club is one of the oldest student organizations on Ohio State's campus [1] and one of the oldest collegiate glee clubs in the United States.
The Chorus has also performed with other arts groups including: ProMusica, Ballet Met, Opera Columbus, Anna and the Annadroids, Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and other established singing groups. The Chorus has also performed for the Ohio Democratic Party Fundraising dinner, where Ohio Governor Ted Strickland accepted and wore a Chorus pin.
The Jazz Academy will offer music education and coaching sessions and informal performances. The Columbus Gay Men's Chorus also performs two shows there each season. The Chapel Choir has performed around Ohio and the world, including Carnegie Hall. The annual Christmas Festival at Capital is a popular local event and community institution led by all the choral ensembles (the Capital Chordsmen, Women's Chorus, Choral Union, and Chapel Choir).
