Sandcastle is a documentation generator from Microsoft. It automatically produces MSDN-style code documentation out of reflection information of .NET assemblies and XML documentation comments found in the source code of these assemblies.
NDoc uses two sources to generate documentation. The first is an assembly file produced by compiling the source code. The other is a pre-generated XML documentation file, usually produced by parsing the source code for special comments (C# compilers from .NET Framework and Mono support this using the "/doc" command-line argument).
Provides warnings if tagged parameters do not match code, parsed parameters included in XML output and Doxygen-style tagfile (-D flag in 8.7). Partial C preprocessor support with -p flag. Support for #if/#ifdef control over documentation inclusion using the -D and -U command-line flags. Imagix 4D: customizable through style sheets and CSS
A line documentation comment uses '##' and a block documentation comment uses '##[' and ']##'. The compiler can generate HTML, LaTeX and JSON documentation from the documentation comments. Documentation comments are part of the abstract syntax tree and can be extracted using macros. [54]
This is a feature of C# 3.0. A feature of C# 3.0 is auto-implemented properties. Define accessors without bodies and the compiler will generate a backing field and the necessary code for the accessors.
However, the language specification does not state the code generation requirements of the compiler: that is, it does not state that a C# compiler must target a Common Language Runtime, or generate Common Intermediate Language (CIL), or generate any other specific format. Some C# compilers can also generate machine code like traditional ...

Code completion is an autocompletion feature in many integrated development environments (IDEs) that speeds up the process of coding applications by fixing common mistakes and suggesting lines of code. This usually happens through popups while typing, querying parameters of functions, and query hints related to syntax errors.
