"Stop for a Minute" followed as the second and final single in early 1988, and reached the top 10 in Germany, as well as the top 20 in Switzerland and Denmark.
With Michael Cretu as her manager, producer and composer, and personally a life partner, Sandra went on to score even more European top 10 hit singles, most famously "In the Heat of the Night" (1985), "Everlasting Love" (1987), "Secret Land" (1988), "Hiroshima" (1990) and "Don't Be Aggressive" (1992).
It was arranged by Michael Cretu and Markus Löhr, and produced by Cretu. The song was released as the lead single from Sandra's third studio album Into a Secret Land in mid-1988. Sandra also recorded new vocals to her 1987 dance hit "Everlasting Love" which was rearranged as a ballad and distributed to radio stations in Germany as a promotional single. The new remix of " Around My Heart " was in turn released to radio stations in Poland where it went on to becoming a top 5 airplay hit.
