Mar Vista is a neighborhood on the Westside of Los Angeles, California. In 1927, Mar Vista became the 70th community to be annexed to Los Angeles. [ 1 ] It was designated as an official city neighborhood in 2006.
A part-time health clinic is located inside the community center. As of 2020, it is a home for more than 1800 residents. [2] Mar Vista Gardens, while not located in Culver City proper, has used a Culver City mailing address. When originally built, the area was home to primarily Caucasian families seeking affordable housing.

In 2016, the City of Anaheim adopted City Council Districts, with Anaheim Hills making up the majority of the 6th District. When Anaheim was a rural community surrounded by orange groves, the geographic center of town was at the intersection of Center Street and Los Angeles Street (now Center Street and Anaheim Blvd.) and the central business district was built around the center of town anchored by the likes of the SQR Department Store, Chung King Restaurant, and Pickwick Hotel.
Opened October 16, 1971, the Royal Inn of Anaheim had 500 rooms, and two restaurants - Earl’s Seafood Grotto and Cocktail Lounge and Jolly King Family Restaurant. [2] Following the collapse of the company itself, Royal Inns sold the hotel in August 1976 to hotelier Jack Wrather , where it was re-named "The Inn At The Park". [ 2 ]
