The Bible is a television miniseries based on the Bible. It was produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett [ 2 ] [ 3 ] and was broadcast weekly between March 3 and 31, 2013 on History channel. [ 4 ] It has since been adapted as a feature film, Son of God .
The limited series began airing on NBC on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015, in twelve weekly one-hour episodes. The story takes place immediately after the events of The Bible miniseries, and then of the Son of God film, beginning with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, and continues with the first ten chapters of the Acts of the Apostles.
Mysteries of the Bible is an hour-long television series that was originally broadcast by A&E from March 25, 1994, until June 13, 1998, and A&E aired reruns of it until 2002. The series was about biblical mysteries and was produced by FilmRoos. The Discovery Channel and BBC also released a series of the same name in 2003. [1]
