Legoland California Resort is a theme park, miniature park, and aquarium [4] in Carlsbad, California, based on the Lego toy brand. In 1999, a Lego Castle themed land was introduced to Legoland California, featuring Castle Hill, [21] Wild Woods Golf [22] and Enchanted Walk. [23] In 2002, a Lego Castle themed land was introduced to Legoland Deutschland Resort, featuring Caterpillar Ride, [24] Royal Joust, [24] Fire Dragon, [25] Dragon Hunt [26] and Gold Panning.
On Tuesday 29 August 2023, Legoland Windsor announced the ride will close permanently on Monday 25 September 2023. [3] The ride featured Lego models, water sprays and cannons along its course. In March 2020, a new theme park attraction was announced at Legoland Windsor Resort. The Duplo Dino Coaster was introduced as part of Duplo Valley, an area of the park designed for children aged five and under. The area also includes Duplo Valley Airport, which involves fully controllable helicopters. [12]
