Asterix and the Vikings (released in French as Astérix et les Vikings and Danish as Asterix og Vikingerne) is a 2006 Danish-French animated adventure film based on the French comic book series Asterix, written by Stefan Fjeldmark and Jean-Luc Gossens, and directed by Fjeldmark and Jesper Møller.
Each episode includes three full-length cartoons from the 1930s to the 1950s, including the 52 theatrically distributed Mr. Magoo cartoons (13 episodes used repeats), and short clips from other cartoons. The cartoons were remastered from the original 35mm film elements.
The capitol of Lilliput comes under attack by a band of Lilliputian-sized Vikings. When the Lilliputians bungle their defensive response, Gary intervenes and drives the invaders away.
