London Bridge is a bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.United States. When it was built in the 1830s, it spanned the River Thames in London, England.In 1968, the bridge was purchased from the City of London by Robert P. McCulloch.
London Bridge crosses the narrow Bridgewater Channel [7] that leads from Lake Havasu (a segment of the Colorado River) to Thompson Bay (also on the river). [8] [9] Hoping to attract tourists and prospective buyers of residential lots, McCulloch bought it for US$2.5 million from the City of London, England, when the bridge was replaced in 1968.
