Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization of local chapters which provide voluntary after-school programs for young people. The organization, which holds a congressional charter under Title 36 of the United States Code, has its headquarters in Atlanta, with regional offices in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, New York City and Los Angeles. Laguna also has a co-ed Surf team (1987) and Sand Volleyball (Girls: since Spring 2014, Boys: since Fall 2014). Laguna Beach has success in sports until the rapid urbanization of Orange County in the late 1950s resulted in Laguna becoming the smallest public high school in the county.

Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, better known as simply Laguna Beach is a reality TV teen drama show that premiered and showed the lives of a cast of teenagers that consisted of mostly seniors, and some juniors, in September 2004 on MTV in the United States. After gaining popularity, the show returned for a second season.
Rouda relocated to Southern California in 2009. There, she became an active volunteer for her children's schools. She is a volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, while serving on committees for the Tahirih Justice Center and Working Wardrobes/VetNet.
The organization created a boys' league in 2017, adding 57 founding clubs. [1] By 2019, the ECNL girls' league had 94 clubs and boys' league had 90 clubs. After the shutdown of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy in 2020, [13] [26] [14] the girls' league expanded to 113 clubs and boys' league to 131 clubs. [1]
The Sunset League is a high school athletic league in Orange County, California affiliated with the CIF Southern Section. [1] The first season was 1937-38 with the charter members Anaheim High School, Huntington Beach High School, Newport Harbor High School, Orange High School, Jordan High School (Long Beach), and Excelsior High School.
