John Edward Olson (born Johan Edward Olsen; June 15, 1892 – June 20, 1982) was an American farmer and Democratic politician from Barron County, Wisconsin. He served in the Wisconsin Senate during the 1949 session , after winning a special election in the 29th Senate district .
John C. Pritzlaff was an immigrant from Pomerania, Prussia, who came to Milwaukee in 1841, before Wisconsin was a state. [1] In 1850 he, August Suelflohn, and Henry Nazro opened a small hardware store on Third Street called John Pritzlaff and Company. Pritzlaff became the sole owner in 1866. [2]
The 13th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. He was born on September 1, 1842, in Gainesville, New York, the son of New York State Assemblyman and Senator John W. Brownson (1807–1860) and Frances L. (Cole) Brownson. The family moved to Sharon, Wisconsin in 1852. During the American Civil War, Brownson served in the 13th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
