The Omni Homestead Resort is a luxury resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, United States, in the middle of the Allegheny Mountains. The area has the largest hot springs in the commonwealth, and the resort is also known for its championship golf courses, which have hosted several national tournaments.
The Warm Springs Pools are historic spa structures in the town of Warm Springs, Virginia. The name was changed in the 20th century from "Warm Spring Pools" to "Jefferson Pools" before being returned to its original name in 2021. Hot Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bath County, Virginia, United States.The population as of the 2020 Census was 524. [1] It is located about 5 miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Warm Springs on U.S. Route 220.
The first detainees were Germans; later, they were joined by Japanese diplomats previously interned at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. The hotel served as a diplomatic detention center until July 8, 1942. [15] [16] The hotel briefly reopened for the 1942 season, but was soon commandeered by the U.S. Army for use as a hospital.

The poolside restaurant was known as the Bubble Club. The resort had an eagle theme; not only was an eagle on the Tides Inn logo but the hotel's 1976 golf course, designed by George Cobb and John LaFoy, was named the Golden Eagle. The golf course is surrounded by a 50 acre lake and is considered the only operational golf course in Lancaster County.
