James M. Stone (born November 12, 1947) is an American business executive. Jim Stone is the founder and CEO of Boston-based Plymouth Rock Assurance Group.Stone was a Lecturer in Economics at Harvard University in the early 1970s [1] [2] and then was the Massachusetts Commissioner of Insurance under Governor Michael Dukakis from 1975 to 1979. [1]
In 1992, Cherry joined the Plymouth Rock family of insurance companies, where she served as a vice president and counsel of SRB, an investment-management subsidiary of Plymouth Rock Assurance. [ 1 ] In 1997, she became the CEO of BlueHub Capital, [ 3 ] which she co-founded in 1984.

Pilgrim Memorial State Park was created in 1920 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Pilgrim landing.
