The following is a list of lakes in Ohio. According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources , there are approximately 50,000 lakes and small ponds, with a total surface area of 200,000 acres, and among these there are 2,200 lakes of 5 acres (2.0 ha) or greater with a total surface area of 134,000 acres. Woodland Lake is situated at 6,893 feet (2,101 m). At full capacity, it has a surface area of 18 acres (7.3 ha) with a maximum depth of 20 feet (6.1 m). Because the lake is part of the local irrigation district, at drawdown, it averages 10 acres (4.0 ha). It is shallow and nutrient rich, making it subject to water quality problems in the summer.

Woodland Park (also known as "Woodland Park Resort") is an unincorporated community in the northern part of the township, situated mostly between sections three and four on the north side of Woodland Lake (also known as Brookings or Crooked Lake), although settlement extends around the south side of the lake into sections nine and ten.
As said before, water in Woodland and Davis contains a high salinity content and is recycled thought the water system. A 2009 annual average wastewater discharge flows and discharge water quality showed 80,000 pounds of salt per day being discharged into local watersheds from the two cities. This eventually connects to the delta.
