I am entering a series of time values (MM:SS) transcribed from a stopwatch. I would like to change the cell format settings so that the cell does not assume it's a time-of-day-like meaning (HH:MM:SS AM/PM). I've checked "Format Cell: Number: Category: Time" and ":Custom" but I haven't found precisely what I'm looking for.
Hi All, I am new to VBA and most of what I know comes from the internet. I have created a worksheet that will allow our team to track how much time they are spending on certain tasks by use of active stopwatch timers. The timers keep cumulative time by what I am sure is a really primitive method.
Attached is a Stopwatch/Timer excel program I made that fits all your requirements. I even set it up so that you could do a SaveAs -> .xla file so you can use it as an Excel Add in and it will be available in all of your workbooks if you want. Here's the code for the actual Stopwatch/Timer userform.
Thank you Kaper. This helps a lot. However, this code write the time in a new line everytime that i click stop and start, and i want that stay always the same cell recording, stoping and return to zero, and start again.
Toggle Button for Stopwatch I have the code below for creating a stopwatch in excel. I was trying to see if there is a way to change this code to assign it to a toggle button so if you hit one part the stopwatch would start and then the other it would stop.
