In this case “ratio” is a bit different. Here it means that a comment gets more likes than the original post, and it normally is a result of making fun of the original post. So it’s somewhat common (very common in nba Twitter lol) to comment “ratio” in hopes that you succeed in getting more likes than the original as a sort of insult.
Like in this post, I see people saying “Ratio+Ashen One” in the comments, or like “L+Tarnished+Maidenless…” and I can just about piece it together but I also feel clueless. ETA: “Plus hollow + I went to your settlement and nobody knew you + you don’t fear the old blood + 0 elden rings + git gud” I really don’t understand any ...
DIN A isn‘t the golden ratio, it‘s the square root of 2 which is the only ratio where you can fold it over the longer side and get a sheet with half the area and the same ratio again. People disliked it especially because it wasn‘t the golden ratio so it was deemed unasthetic.
I'm guessing it's becoming a trend to deliberately try and get a tweet 'ratioed' by replying with an irrelevant or low effort meme (or maybe just the phrase 'ratioed'). The replies to the tweet linked in the OP are probably a good example - though in this case people are trying to ratio that tweet as a joke, rather than as a method of annoying ...
Ratio comes from “ratio of replies/comments to likes/upvotes”. It refers to getting mobbed/dogpiled with a lot of negative replies. This comes from Twitter, which has “likes” but no “dislikes”, so if a post has a high ratio, it often means that people are replying because they dislike it. The verb form is to get ratioed / get ratio’d.

“Ratio” is a attempt to belittle or embarrass an OP by getting more interaction than their original post, usually by getting more likes. So, whenever someone says “xyz +ratio”, they are usually providing a counter point or rebuttal (or argument) and then attempting to embarrass the original poster/ prove how idiotic the OPs comment was.
L does stand for loser/lose and ratio indicates the amount of likes to replies/quotes your post gets on Twitter. Usually if a post (tweet) on Twitter has more replies/quotes on it than likes it means the post has been recieved negatively. The L + Ratio joke caught on and became a meme as well as getting longer and longer (lol). Hope this helps!
