A software requirements specification (SRS) is a description of a software system to be developed.It is modeled after the business requirements specification.The software requirements specification lays out functional and non-functional requirements, and it may include a set of use cases that describe user interactions that the software must provide to the user for perfect interaction.
In particular, it helps to document and communicate the results chain of individual projects. Moreover, several fundamental reporting elements such as organisational structure and finances are systematically captured in the SRS report, which creates a comprehensive picture of the organisation.

Likewise, software may or not use some standard to import or export requirements (such as ReqIF) or not allow these exchanges at all.
