Flight International, formerly Flight, is a monthly magazine focused on aerospace.Published in the United Kingdom and founded in 1909 as "A Journal devoted to the Interests, Practice, and Progress of Aerial Locomotion and Transport", [1] it is the world's oldest continuously published aviation news magazine.

Issue 1 of Aeroplane Monthly was published in May 1973 at a cover price of 30p, [1] in association with Flight International, by IPC Media.The founder was Richard T. Riding (1942–2019), whose father, E.J. Riding, had been photographer for The Aeroplane magazine of the 1940s. [1]
Flight International is the original company providing Contracted Air Services to the DoD. In 2002, the company was acquired by Raytheon Aerospace which was renamed Vertex Aerospace. In 2003, Vertex Aerospace was acquired by L-3 Communications and the name changed from Flight International Aviation to L-3 Flight International Aviation.
