St. Paul's Chapel is a chapel building of Trinity Church, an episcopal parish, located at 209 Broadway, between Fulton Street and Vesey Street, in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Built in 1766, it is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan [ 4 ] and one of the nation's most well renowned examples of Late Georgian church architecture.

The Old St. Patrick's church building was designated a New York City landmark in 1966, [7] and the cathedral complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. [1] It was declared a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI on Saint Patrick's Day, March 17, 2010.
In January 2018, the Children's Museum of Manhattan announced that it had acquired the former First Church of Christ, Scientist, building. [11] [12] The church building cost $45 million, and the city provided $5.5 million for a renovation of the church. [12] FXCollaborative was hired to renovate the church. [13]
