Thích Trí Quang (chữ Hán: 釋智光) (21 December 1923 – 8 November 2019) was a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk best known for his role in leading South Vietnam's Buddhist population during the Buddhist crisis in 1963, and in later Buddhist protests against subsequent South Vietnamese military regimes until the Buddhist Uprising of 1966 was crushed.

Nguyễn Hoàng (28 August 1525 – 20 July 1613) was a Vietnamese official who ruled southern Vietnam from 1558 to his death in 1613. As the first of the Nguyễn lords, he established a powerful state that contested rule over Vietnam for the next two centuries.
In October 1989, Nguyen signed as a developmental player with the San Diego Sockers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. He played twenty-three games for the Sockers’ first team during the 1989–1990 season. The Sockers signed him again for the 1990–1991 season, but released Nguyen in November 1990 as he decided to pursue his graduate studies.
