The Punjab Buildings Department is responsible for the execution, maintenance, and repair of public buildings in the province. Same as Punjab Highways Department, it is also divided into three zones: North, South, and Central. Each zone is headed by a Chief Engineer, who is a grade-20 officer from the engineering branch of the department. [1]
