The Audubon Resource Center at Lettuce Lake Park, also known as ARC in the Park, is operated by the Tampa Audubon Society in the visitor center.The center features natural history exhibits and wildlife native to the Hillsborough River watershed, and provides environmental education programs and field trips for all ages.
Lake Hicpochee, about 9,000 acres (3,600 ha) in area, was only 3 miles (4.8 km) from Lake Okeechobee, but there was no connection between the two lakes before the late 19th century. Water flowed from Lake Hicpochee westward into Lettuce Lake and then Bonnet Lake. When the water was high the two lakes merged.

The Hyde Park Historic Districts are U.S. Historic Districts (designated as such on March 4, 1985) located in Tampa, Florida. They are bounded by the Hillsborough River, Hillsborough Bay, Howard Avenue, and Kennedy Boulevard. They contain 1,264 buildings, including the Hutchinson House and the Anderson-Frank House.
MOSI was the largest science center in the southeast and the 5th largest in the U.S. [2] On August 13, 2017, MOSI closed 85% of their building and their IMAX theater to save money. Many exhibits were removed and the remaining exhibits were relocated to the previous "Kids in Charge" section of the museum.
