The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 (stylized as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, sold as Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 in certain territories) is an Android-based foldable smartphone that was announced by Samsung Electronics on July 26, 2023.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G was released on 18 September 2020, and is the second generation of Samsung's inward fold design introduced with the original Fold. It features a significantly larger front screen than its predecessor, a high refresh rate 120 Hz folding screen, minimal bezels and improved cameras. [ 9 ]
The Galaxy Fold contains two displays; its front cover contains a small, 4.6-inch display in the center designed for one-handed use, and the device can fold open to expose a 7.3-inch display. Samsung rated the fold mechanism as supporting up to 200,000 uses.
